Improved fire resistance of doors

Knauf Insulation is a leading European supplier of rock mineral wool cores to the producers of metal fire protection doors.

In accordance with the main purpose of the KI OEM division, which is to drive its own innovative development and to design new products according to each customer's specific needs, our R & D team has developed a new generation of insulation cores used for fire protection doors. With changed structure of fibers and better fiber distribution, fire protection performance of the material was exceedingly improved. Our latest test results from authorized institutes show, newest Knauf Insulation cores achieve for up to 15 % better fire resistance in comparison with previous materials.

With the new generation of cores for fire doors it was once more demonstrated Knauf Insulation, besides with excellent service, builds partnership also through high quality products and unique insulation solutions.
