Pipe sections for stainless steel chimney systems
Knauf insulation CHM S CFB PIPE SECTION ALUR (CHM SCFB ALUR) are cut pipe sections made of rock mineral wool of different inner diameters and wall thicknesses. Pipe sections are faced with reinforced aluminium foil that protects section surfaces where mechanical protection is required. At the same time the aluminium foil acts as a vapour barrier.
The inner diameter, length and thickness of pipe sections can be customized according to the dimensions of the tube and customer requirements. Customization of all three elements is key to a perfect fit of the insulation to the chimney tube, which results in optimal energy efficiency and performance of the complete chimney system.
