Insulation core for fire-resistant door sets with advanced mechanical properties
Knauf insulation DRS CRIMP FIRE BOARD (DRS CFB) is a highdensity rock mineral wool board with highly compressed fibres and as a result, advanced mechanical properties. It is specifically designed and used as an insulation core in doors, where its main purpose is to provide fire and thermal protection in compliance with EN 16034 (harmonised standard for fire-rated door sets) and where dimensional stability is of exceptional importance.
The fibres are bound with a minimum of organic binder, ensuring board integrity at high temperatures.
The board may be further processed (ensuring minimum dimensional deviations, surface grinding, dust removal, cutting of specific shapes) upon request.
